Chicagoland native and massive Cubs fan Jeff Nobleza had no idea that his path would lead him to a career in real estate.

After graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Accounting (and a few bruises from playing rugby), he thrived as an accountant and business analyst, sitting for the CPA exam and starting to build his personal investment strategy.

Jeff decided to purchase his first home in 2006 as an optimistic and successful young professional. Unfortunately, the US housing market at that time was at the apex of the bubble which resulted in the subprime mortgage crisis of 2007-2008 and laid the groundwork for the Great Recession.

His experiences during this time inspired him to pivot to the real estate industry, determined to help hopeful first-time buyers and families who want to establish a true home for their children and build generational wealth.

Licensed and actively practicing in both Illinois and Minnesota, Jeff possesses deep local knowledge of the Chicagoland and Twin Cities housing markets. He also keeps a hand in Florida’s bustling and volatile real estate landscape, closing deals in Jacksonville’s tony San Jose neighborhood, home of the historic Alfred I. du Pont Estate and Epping Forest Yacht Club.

Adept at negotiation and a master of detail, he’s played a vital role in over 400 transactions, including complex commercial property sales and leases. Jeff is steadily growing his real estate business and represents a diverse roster of clients, from savvy large-scale investors to corporate entities, small businesses, and regular people dreaming of having a home of their own.

He believes that the keys to finding success in this industry are establishing the right systems and positioning yourself as a subject matter expert. Continuing education is crucial for brokers, especially in the competitive Upper Midwest.

Authentic empathy and being able to create personal connections are two of Jeff’s other strengths. He was drawn to Baird & Warner Lincoln Park by the vibrant ecosystem and support network, as well as the powerful mentorship opportunities offered by the management team, led by David Bailey.

“You’re only worth as much as your network,” Jeff acknowledges, and through BWLP, he’s been able to vastly expand his reach and drive explosive business development.

But maintaining a work/ life balance is critical for achieving your true potential, and the Chicagoland and Twin Cities offer plenty of options for having fun and living life to the fullest. Jeff has attended over 30 Chicago Cubs games, and when in town he’s always sure to stop and  explore the menu at Sunda, a culinary jewel featuring pan-Asian flavors, craft cocktails, and a lively happy hour.

As a transplant in Minnesota, he embraces the local culture by fishing in the abundant rivers and lakes and making lefse, a traditional Norwegian soft flatbread that’s delicious paired with a variety of both sweet and savory ingredients. Jeff is also a talented bass player and performs with LoverCraft, an energetic funk/ rock/ soul party band that’s wildly popular in the Minneapolis music scene.

For those interested in exploring the potential of launching a career in real estate, he emphasizes the importance of determination, dedication, and hard work.

Being consistent, building a solid foundation of best practices, and nourishing your network are the secrets to finding your stride in this business. He encourages new brokers to partner with Baird and Warner Lincoln Park and take advantage of their highly unique resources and tools.

In this ever-changing market, Jeff’s experience, compassion, and expertise gives his clients a distinct edge when it comes to getting what they want. He delivers an effective and customized approach that’s specifically tailored to each customer’s specific needs.
